About KnK

In february 2015, two friends started working together on this new project. After a personal miscalculation of twelve years, Deejee Ko-ën (K1) realized there is still enough room in this world to make some more industrial noise, combined with catchy rhythms. His friend Koen Van Dappernest (K2) proposed to stop talking about this and just start doing it.

And so the KnK story started.

After 4 years, in summer 2019, Hilde Ivens was recruted for additional vocals, but left the band during the Corona-break.

2 demo EP's ("Dead body Music I" and "Dead Body Music II") were released in 2015 + rereleased on DAFT Records in 2017 ("Dead Body Music I+II") and in 2018 "Dead Body Music III" was released on DAFT Records.

After that DAFT Records stopped making new releases, and the next 4 years of work - with a huge

Corona - break - resulted in a fourth album in spring 2022: "Dead Body Music: The head on the floor".
